Overview
Great IPTV respects the rights of copyright owners. This page explains how a copyright owner, or someone authorised to act for one, can tell us about material they believe infringes their rights, and how we respond. The process follows the notice-and-takedown framework of the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512); notices from other jurisdictions are reviewed in the same way.
How to send a notice
Send your notice by email to our designated contact:
- Email: contact.provideriptv@gmail.com (subject line “Copyright notice”)
- Designated agent: [name, postal address and U.S. Copyright Office DMCA agent registration — to be confirmed]
What a notice must include
To let us act quickly, please include:
- a physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorised to act on their behalf;
- identification of the copyrighted work you believe is infringed (or a representative list if there are several);
- identification of the material you believe is infringing — for example the channel name, programme, date and time — with enough detail for us to locate it;
- your name, postal address, telephone number and email address;
- a statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent or the law;
- a statement that the information in the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are authorised to act on behalf of the owner.
Incomplete notices may delay our response. Knowingly misrepresenting that material is infringing may create legal liability.
What we do when we receive a notice
- We acknowledge receipt by email.
- We review the notice and, where it is complete and valid, act promptly to remove or disable access to the identified material.
- Where appropriate, we notify the affected customer.
- We keep a record of notices and actions taken.
Counter-notices
If you believe material was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to the same address. It must include your signature; identification of the material and where it appeared before removal; a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed by mistake or misidentification; your name, address and telephone number; and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the appropriate court and will accept service of process from the person who filed the original notice.
Repeat infringement
We may suspend or terminate the accounts of customers who are the subject of repeated valid notices, in appropriate circumstances.
